HALEYS was founded by Ashley Ocampo, a Filipina American who struggled to find makeup that fit her Asian skin tone, skin type and features.
Plagued by acne, oily skin and short lashes in a world where perfection is expected, the self-proclaimed beauty junkie fell in love with beauty and the transformative power it had for her confidence.
After earning a degree in chemistry, Ashley rejected the cliché medical/pharmaceutical path for an R&D career at – gasp – global cosmetic companies where she was left unimpressed by what crossed her lab bench.
Driven by high expectations and a low tolerance for formulas that slip, fade and clog, Ashley set out to create best-in-class makeup that’s meticulously formulated to enhance your best features.

With a focus on developing products that will not promote break outs or irritate skin, EWG, HRIPT testing, and Acne.org are our guiding principles. With each new addition to our collection, we conduct consumer studies to measure performance and skin-comfort.
